Isolated Friday Storms lead to a Sun-Filled Weekend

Posted: Updated:

Get ready for some pleasant summer weather as we head into the weekend!

Friday will feature a mix of sunshine and clouds, courtesy of the frontal boundary that is still draped to our south along the Michigan/Indiana border.

The air will remain warm and muggy today, leaving things unstable enough to possibly set off a few isolated showers or thunderstorms. Don't cancel any outdoor plans, but keep an eye to the sky.

A zone of high pressure over Canada will begin to push into the Great Lakes on Saturday, chewing up a good amount of the cloud cover and lowering the humidity levels a bit.

Temperatures all through the weekend will be comfortably warm in the low 80s with plenty of sunshine.

If you've been waiting for that summertime warmth to return, then this is your weekend!
