GM CEO Mary Barra takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

General Motors' CEO Mary Barra took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Friday, Aug. 22 after being challenged by several people.

Barra was challenged by HP CEO Meg Whitman, Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann, and several people on Twitter, GM said.

Barra had two GM employees in Flint help her with the challenge. She challenged NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon among others to complete the challenge.

The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised more than $53 million for the ALS Association.
