TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - College football is finally back and the University of Arizona Wildcats will be taking the field on Friday night for the first time this season. There will be a lot going on in and around Arizona Stadium all day today, and University of Arizona Police are making sure things remain safe for the fanes.

First off the Wildcats will be hosting UNLV Runnin' Rebels, with the game time of 7:30 p.m. Those without tickets to the game can watch from home on ESPN.

Tailgate time for the game begins at 1:30 p.m., but there are some changes fans should know about.  University of Arizona Athletics will follow the University's no smoking ban; as for smoking in Arizona Stadium, there are two designated areas on the east and west outer ramps, but smokers are only allowed to use e-cigarettes.

UAPD working with additional law enforcement will be handling the extra traffic, due to the game being on a Friday night.  Thanks to a grant from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety, UAPD has an additional $79,000 to help with safety during the game.

According to UAPD they want the fans to have a good time, but they want the fans to be responsible.
