Sunny start to Monday, big changes ahead

Posted: Updated:
Our dry and warm stretch of weather is coming to an end, and this week will be more fall-like.

We started today with areas of fog and low visibility in spots. Otherwise, we've had plenty of morning sunshine.

Low temperatures were in the 40s and low 50s this morning. Highs will reach the mid and upper 70s today, which is around 10° above average.

Today will be the seventh day in a row of above average temperatures. Enjoy this warmth while it lasts, because these warmer than average temperatures will be gone tomorrow.

A cold front will drop through from northwest to southeast later this afternoon and evening. This front will bring an increase in cloud cover this afternoon, along with late day showers.

Much cooler air is behind this cold front, and temperatures on Tuesday will struggle to reach the low 60s.
