Big cool-down for Tuesday - WNEM TV 5

First Warn 5

Big cool-down for Tuesday

Posted: Updated:
Expect to feel the impacts of yesterday's cold front all day today.

We started the morning with areas of drizzle and plenty of clouds. Low temperatures were milder than the past few mornings, but unlike the last week, we will not be warming all that much for the afternoon.

Highs will only reach the mid and upper 50s today, which is about a twenty degree drop from yesterday. Average high for this time of the year is 66°.

A northerly wind will bring the chance for a few showers, mainly in the Thumb. All of mid-Michigan will have the chance for spotty drizzle for the first part of today, too.

This big cool down will be short-lived, as temperatures tomorrow will rebound into the upper 60s. However, we will continue to see periods of rain for several days this week. Keep up with the late-week rain with our Pinpoint Doppler Radar online.
