Cool and wet start to the work week

Posted: Updated:

Our work week is off to a cool start, and we also will see a few showers.

Monday morning temperatures were cool and in the 40s, and you'll want to keep a light jacket around for the day as highs will only reach the upper 50s.

Average this time of the year is in the low to mid 60s. We will be below average for the majority of the week.

We are not only tracking the cooler than average temperatures, but we also have a few showers in the forecast today.

An area of low pressure will move over us this afternoon and evening, bringing some scattered rain to mid-Michigan. Have your umbrella handy today!

A second disturbance will bring us another round of afternoon and evening showers on Tuesday.

The rest of the week will be drier, but we will remain in the 50s and rather cool. Enjoy this fall-like weather!
