Cooler weather returns to mid-Michigan

Posted: Updated:
The cloud cover cooperated for many south of M-55 this morning, and we were able to see the Lunar Eclipse. It had a reddish tint, which is also referred to as the Blood Moon. It was chilly if you were outside, and morning lows were in the 40s.

Highs will only reach the upper 50s today, which is below our average of 63°.

The majority of mid-Michigan will see partly cloudy skies and dry weather today. The exceptions are our northern counties and the tip of the Thumb, where a few showers are possible for the first part of the day. See where the current isolated showers are with our Interactive Radar.

The breeze will pick up today, with westerly winds at 15-25 mph. Gusts will be up to 30 mph.

We have a dry stretch of weather ahead for the rest of the week, with cooler than average temperatures around through the weekend.
