Suspect caught in connection to Saginaw murder

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Police have apprehended a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a mid-Michigan man.

Joseph Rogers, 24, is suspected in the death of Richard Fowler. Rogers was arrested in Chapin Township, near Chesaning.

The incident happened November 13 at a home on Ruby Street near South Michigan Avenue in Saginaw.

Police say Rogers has ties to Saginaw, Chesaning and Saint Charles as well as Texas.

Rogers is facing murder charges and is being held without bond in the Saginaw County Jail.
