Police have identified the 31-year-old Burton woman who was killed Saturday, Dec. 13 after she was struck by several vehicles while walking along the 5400 block of South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc Township.

Macie Allinger, 31, was walking on Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc around 11 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 17-year-old Grand Blanc girl.

After Allinger was struck by the initial vehicle, she was then run over by several other vehicles traveling through the area. Allinger died at the scene.

The location where Allinger was struck was poorly lit and police say she was wearing dark clothes while walking in the roadway. None of the drivers of the vehicles were injured. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. Grand Blanc Township police say the accident remains under investigation.
