We are experiencing some of the coldest temperatures so far this season.

All of mid-Michigan fell to be below zero this morning. As cold as it is, many are still 5-10° above the record low temperatures. The record at MBS is -10°, and the record at FNT is -19°. These were set in 2009, and will still stand after today.

The wind has been light this morning, but it doesn't take much to drop the wind chill values. Oscoda had wind chill readings as low as -31° this morning! However, the majority of mid-Michigan had wind chill values at -5 to -15°.

Highs will reach the upper teens today, which is still below average.

We will see some sunshine this morning, but the clouds will increase throughout the day. There will also be a few stray flurries.

We won't be nearly as cold tonight, and lows will be in the low teens. Milder temperatures are in store for our Thursday, and highs will be in the upper 20s.
