It is a chilly and quiet start to our Wednesday, but we will see the weather change over the course of today.

Morning low temperatures were colder than average and in the single digits, but our high temperatures will rebound nicely, and will be near the seasonal average of 29°.

We will begin today with mostly clear skies and some sunshine. However, the clouds will build ahead of our next weather system that will bring us snow tonight after 2 AM, and through tomorrow.

Track the moisture's arrival online with our Interactive Radar.

Communities south of the Tri-Cities have a chance of a wintry mix as the moisture moves in late tonight, with up to a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation possible.

All other parts of mid-MI will see all snow, and most will receive 1-3" by tomorrow evening.

Areas close to the shoreline and the Thumb will have the best chance at seeing locally higher amounts.

The Thursday morning commute will likely be very slick, so give yourself plenty of time to slow it down on the roads tomorrow.

A winter weather advisory will also be in effect from 1 AM through 4 PM Thursday for Gratiot County.
