Snow hits Mid-Michigan

Snow is here as an area of low pressure moving south of Mid-Michigan is delivering several inches of snow in the process.

Snow developed during the early AM hours of Thursday and will stick around most of the day. Communities south of the Tri-Cities have a chance of a wintry mix as the moisture moves in late tonight, with up to a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation possible.

Most of mid-MI will see snow, and most will receive 1-3" on average by tomorrow evening.

Snow could become heavy at times in the thumb and that could lead to higher amounts of snow accumulation.
