Frigid, Arctic air has returned to Mid-Michigan. It will definitely be apparent Thursday as lows have fallen to around -10 and wind chill values fall between -25 and -30 degrees.

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for most of Mid Michigan through the day on Thursday.  Northern counties will remain under a Wind Chill Warning through 7 p.m. Thursday night.  A brisk northwest wind combined with the forecast lows will make it very dangerous to be outside.  School delays and cancellations are in effect for many schools.

You can always check for school and business closings here.

Afternoon highs will only top out in the low single digits on Thursday. Skies will remain cloudy tonight and Thursday. Expect gradual clearing overhead on Thursday night.

That will give us some sunshine on Friday. However, highs will only top out in the low teens. It will be slightly warmer on Saturday. That's when we will see our next chance of snow.

You can always see where the snow is with our Interactive Radar.
