A large zone of high pressure will slowly build east from the Rockies over the next several days, bringing a prolonged stretch of quiet weather that will last well into the weekend. Expect varying amounts of clouds and sunshine all the way through Sunday.

A brief return to chilly temperatures will arrive for Thursday with highs only reaching the teens, before jumping right back into the low 30s by Saturday.
