SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Spring officially arrived this past Friday evening, and aside from a gorgeous kickoff to the weekend, it seems to have already gone on a Spring Break!

Fortunately, we won't need to look far to find some weather more representative on Spring.

On Tuesday, as the clipper system continues moves away, clouds will all but vanish, bringing bright sunshine back to our region. Temperatures will be at least bit milder, with interior locations reaching the low 40's.

A light easterly wind will keep temperatures just a bit cooler closer to Lake Huron, with highs across the Thumb and around the Bay reaching the middle and upper 30's.

Clouds will start to return Tuesday evening in advance of our next storm system.

A pair of developing low pressure systems over the Rockies will push a warm front across Mid-Michigan early on Wednesday morning, along with enough moisture for some rain.

Initially, due to a relatively cold layer of air still trapped at the surface, some mixed precipitation or freezing rain will be possible around the time of the morning drive before all areas see a changeover to all rain as temperatures warm up.

Plan on giving yourself some extra time if you will be hitting the roads that morning.

Most of the wet weather should end by midday on Wednesday, and our temperatures will take a healthy jump into the low 50's. Some sun may break through the clouds that afternoon as well.

Now as we all know, they say what goes up must come back down, but that's not necessarily what we'd like to hear during Spring. Like it or not, we'll need to tough it out through another chilly spell as the work week comes to a close.

>>>TV5 Hour-By-Hour Forecast<<<

Highs will sink back into the 40's on Thursday with the chance of a few lingering rain or snow showers, and drop farther still on Friday into the low 30's.

Temperatures look to stabilize by the second half of the weekend into early next week.
