Spring Delight Continues

Posted: Updated:

High pressure will remain mostly in control of our weather on Wednesday, sending down a repeat performance of today's mild conditions.

Expect afternoon highs in the low 60s, but a bit cooler closer to Lake Huron due to an onshore breeze.

A persistent flow of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will become a factor in our forecast by Thursday. Clouds will spread their way back over Mid-Michigan throughout the day, holding our temperatures a bit more in check in the upper 50s.

A few showers may also develop during the afternoon, but they should be of a more scattered variety and mostly lighter.

Moving toward the end of the work week and into the weekend, the forecast becomes somewhat trickier to pin down.

Current forecasts are not in the best agreement, but conditions on Friday look dry along with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures however stand to jump back into the upper 60s to near 70.

Some uncertainty also exists for the weekend as forecasts are a bit divided on whether or not we will see any rain. I've adjusted Saturday's forecast to include a bit more in the way of cloud cover, but I'm not quite convinced that we will see any rain just yet.

A bit more sunshine looks possible for Sunday, with weekend highs near 60 both days.

Monday and Tuesday will also feature a fair amount of clouds, and we could see a few showers to start the work week.
