Two people were injured after being ejected from their vehicle on Sunday.

The accident happened on Canoe Camp Road in Roscommon Township when the driver lost control of the Mercury Mountaineer and began rolling down the road, the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office said.

Both of the occupants, a male passenger and a female driver, were ejected from the vehicle.

The male was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for injuries he sustained during the crash. The female was transported by Lifenet to Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, police said.
