Mid-Michigan dairy farm under investigation

Posted: Updated:

Contrary to a media report claiming the Michigan Department of Agriculture is looking to shut a Mid-Michigan farm down, that’s apparently not the case.

The Michigan Department of Agriculture says it has been investigating Hill High Dairy in Arenac County for two years.

They’re trying to get the farm to stop making and marketing products like cheese and butter because they don’t have a license to do that.

The Hill High can continue to operate as a Class A Dairy, and sell raw milk to consumers.
