I-75 re-opens after accident in construction zone

SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

I-75 has re-opened following an accident that shut down part of the highway in Saginaw County.

It happened on northbound I-75 near the 148 mile marker, near Hess Avenue, at around 10:30 a.m. There is currently construction going on in the area and that stretch has been narrowed to two lanes.

Right now it’s not clear what caused the accident, or how many vehicles were involved.
