Power restored after outage caused by crane entangled in line

FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

About 5,300 people were without power in Flint Wednesday morning after a crane became entangled with power lines.

It happened near the intersection of Linden and Beecher.

The outage spanned from I-75 east to Dupont Street and from Corunna Road north to Stewart Avenue.

The outage happened around 9:45 a.m. and Consumers Energy had power restored by 10:48.

There are no word on injuries.
