SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

A fire that started on Wednesday rekindled Thursday morning.

The fire started at an abandoned building on Ward and Phelon in Saginaw about 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

The fire rekindled about 6:20 a.m. on Thursday, according to Saginaw Central Dispatch.

A demolition crew had to knock down the walls of the structure to help fire crews get to the blaze, Fire Marshall Ralph Martin said.

There have been six fires in that neighborhood since Friday. At least four of those fires have been considered arson.
