FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A three-time convicted felon was arrested and several stolen firearms were recovered at a Genesee County home.

The Flint Police Department teamed up with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Clayton Township Police Department and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a search warrant at a home on the south side of Flint on July 29.

The search warrant was part of an investigation conducted by the Clayton Township Police Department regarding a home invasion, police said.

Upon entry of the house, officers arrested a three-time convicted felon for multiple weapons related offenses.

Police also recovered 14 stolen firearms and a short barreled rifle, police said.

The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment.

Two other people have been arrested in connection with the case, police said.

However, there are still weapons from the home invasion that have not been recovered by police.

If you have any information regarding this case contact the Clayton Township Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
