Multiple outlets are reporting that the Detroit Lions and linebacker DeAndre Levy have reached an agreement on a 4-year contract extension.
The 28-year old was a second-team All-Pro in 2014, setting a career-high in tackles with 151, and leading the NFL in solo tackles with 117.
Over the last two seasons, Levy's 7 interceptions are the most of any NFL linebacker.
He's considered by many to be one of, if not the best, sideline-to-sideline OLB's in the NFL.
Levy's previous contract was due to expire at the end of this season. The terms of his new deal have not been disclosed.
