At least 2 hurt after vehicle crashes into business

Posted: Updated:

At least two people are hurt after a chain-reaction crashes causes a vehicle to hit a business.

It’s going on right now at Healthy Habitz 4 Life in Frankenmuth. That’s located on the 500 block of S. Main Street.

A manager at the business tells TV5 that one of their customers, a 59-year-old Bridgeport woman, got into her Chrysler, and turned onto S. Main Street. That’s when the Chrysler and a Jeep, driven by a 24-year-old Vassar man, collided. The Jeep then hit a Ford F250, driven by a 44-year-old Vassar man, before rolling over.

Meantime, the Chrysler went onto the sidewalk, hit a bench, and then hit the front of the business.

The bench hit a 79-year-old Taylor woman who was walking on the sidewalk.

The Jeep driver, and the woman walking on the sidewalk are both injured, but it’s unclear how serious those injuries are.

The car hit the façade and door at the store’s entrance.

The Frankenmuth Fire Department had to be called in to wash down fluids leaking from the vehicles.

Police say the case remains under investigation.
