“Shoes, socks, shirts and under pants,” said Olivia Lesoski.

Olivia is excited about her new school clothes.

Most of them feature horses, her favorite animal.

“This is a unicorn shirt,” Olivia said.

These items were donated to Olivia through the Do All Backpack program and the United Way of Bay County.

Not only did she get a cool backpack filled with tons of great school supplies, but also these new clothes.

It's something her mother, Katie Lesoski, said is helpful with two children, so they don't have to share the same clothes

“It's actually really nice because this helps us to get new clothes for them and not have to go to garage sales. And this year they grew out of their shoes,” Katie Lesoski said.

This year, 1,300 stuffed bags were given to students.

“By the kid’s faces I think it tells a story, it absolutely makes a difference,” said Christopher Girad, of Do All Incorporated. “It adds to the extra help when folks are going back to school. Education is an important factor in addressing poverty and working together, do all and united way, we're addressing it in a good manor.”

Each of these bags is for just one student. A personalized shopper picked each thing for them.

“I think it shows the kids people care,” Girad said. “It's important to know people are out there, caring about them, wanting to see them succeed. And I think as we come together as a community to do this, we all win.”

Now, Olivia is ready to go back to school.
