Firefighter treated for exhaustion after responding to fire

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Two fires have been reported in Flint Wednesday morning.

The first fire was on the 700 block of Evergreen Avenue and the second fire was on the corner of Hosler and Lapeer.

The second fire started in a kitchen at an apartment complex. Two people, including a firefighter, were taken to the hospital.

The firefighter was treated for exhaustion, according to the battalion chief.

The fire started just after 8 a.m.

TV5 is on the scene and will update when more information is available.

There was also an early morning shooting that left one man dead in the city.
