SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Quinnipac University conducted a survey of more than 1,500 registered voters nationwide.

Based on their survey, if Hillary Clinton ran against Jeb Bush and Donald Trump as an independent, Clinton would win with 40 percent of the vote.

A component of their survey was word association with Clinton, Trump and Bush.

For Clinton, most respondents said she was a liar (178), dishonest (123), untrustworthy (93), or experience (82).

Bush has more favorable responses, but the greatest association was the legacy of his father and brother, with 136 respondents associating his last name with the candidate. Other responses were family (70), honest (53), and weak (45).

Trump had more unique words associated with him, though only eight people mentioned his hair. They were generally favorable with arrogant (58), blowhard (38), idiot (35), and businessman and clown (each 34) rounding out the top responses.
