OGEMAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A woman has pleaded no contest in connection with an Ogemaw County murder investigation.

Mindy Bezemek entered the plea to the charge of being an accessory after the fact in regards to a November 2014 murder.

That’s when investigators say Brett Ritter was shot and killed by Patrick Sourander while behind Logger's Depot in West Branch.

In exchange for her plea, the state will not prosecute her for lying to a police officer.

Investigators also say Bezemek admitted to some other offenses from prior cases.

She’s scheduled to be sentenced on or before October 7.
