Gun recovered in Bay City shooting

BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -

Police are investigating the Sept. 10 shooting in Bay City.

It happened on Farragut between 10th and 11th street in Bay City about 11:15 p.m.

A 24-year-old male was injured as a result of the incident. He is in serious, but stable condition.

The victim told police he was in his front yard 'minding his own business' when someone started firing at him, police said.

He was taken to McLaren Hospital in Bay City and then transferred to St. Mary's in Saginaw.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.

Officers learned several subjects were involved in the incident with multiple firearms, police said.

Police have questioned several subjects and recovered one firearm used in the shooting, police said.
