AU GRES, Mich. (AP) -

A $65,000 boat ramp replacement project in Arenac County is designed to improve access to Lake Huron.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says construction starts Monday on the Au Gres River Mouth boat launch project.

The site will have partial ramp closures during construction. During the work, the DNR says the launch ramp will be reduced to one pier with two lanes.

Construction is scheduled to wrap up in November.
