70-year-old woman missing for 5 days, 'didn't want to be found'

Mary Ann Doyle disappeared on Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

She was found on Thursday morning in a mobile home park.

"We just dropped everything and got in the truck and took off to go pick her up," said Tracy Doyle, Mary Ann Doyle's daughter-in-law.

Tracy Doyle said she was elated and relieved to find her mother-in-law safe.

Aside from being hungry, Mary Ann Doyle seemed to be in good health.

But then, Mary Ann Doyle told her family, she didn't want to be found.

Her heart was hurting.

"Her and my father-in-law, tomorrow would be 51 years that they met and they're divorced now," Tracy Doyle said. "She misses him. And she just said she had to be alone."

That's why Tracy Doyle said she's so grateful to those who found Mary Ann Doyle.

"Thank God that they were there when they were there," Tracy Doyle said. "A couple more days, if she didn't come home, God only knows what would have happened."
