Flint officers say Jeremiah Phifer, 28, is in custody, and has been charged with multiple counts stemming from an incident in the 600 block of Barrie Avenue.

Investigators reported to the location after reports of a man with a gun. When officers arrived, they say Phifer lead them on a chase, and threw away a gun in the process.

He was later taken into custody and is now charged with: Peace Officer - Disarming Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Assaulting, Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer and Felony Firearm.
