CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two men have been charged with seven counts of second-degree home invasion after a series of break-ins.

Robert Frayer, Farwell, 17, and Vincent Ponder, Clinton Township, 25, were arrested on Sept. 20 in connection to a series of break-ins in Lincoln Township.

Police said Frayer and Ponder stole property from the homes they broke in to and then stored it in an outside shed. Police were able to recover most of the stolen property.

Frayer and Ponder were each charged with seven counts of second-degree home invasion, which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
