Police: Man possibly caught photographing kids leaving school

Posted: Updated:

Police are asking for help gathering information on a man allegedly taking pictures of kids leaving school.

Clio officers were called to the Rite Aid at 100 E. Vienna Street on September 23 after a parent claims they saw the man taking the pictures.

The parent told a store employee that the man was sitting in a blue conversion van in the parking lot at the time.

While the parent left before officers arrived, some photos and information were posted on Facebook. That information said the heavy set man, who is believed to be in his 50s, had a pony tail and a goatee. The blue van appeared to possibly be an early 2000 GM full size conversion van with a tan stripe.

The man has not been reported to be on school property, and he has not approached any children.

If you have any information, call Clio police at (810) 686-5010.
