PINCONNING TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A 24-year-old woman was killed in a Friday morning crash.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Seven Mile and Whitefeather in Bay County’s Pinconning Township.

Investigators with the Bay County Sheriff's Department say Tiffany Weaver from Pinconning was driving a 2002 green GMC pick-up truck southbound on Seven Mile when she lost control near Whitefeather.

The GMC crashed into the ditch on the east side of the road and overturned. The vehicle probably rolled multiple times, police said.

Weaver was ejected from the pick-up truck during the crash. She was found on the roadway.

Another driver came across the accident and called 911, police said.

It is unclear if Weaver was wearing a seatbelt or if she was under the influence of alcohol.

The crash remains under investigation.
