SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Investigators have positively identified a body found by a man out for a walk on the beach.

It happened Oct. 4 at 11:50 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Lakeshore Road in Sanilac County’s Worth Township.

Investigators said the man was walking the shoreline when he came across the man’s body partially floating in the water

Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office has now officially identified the body as belonging to 60-year-old Patrick Michael Presutti of Macomb. Presutti went missing from his boat on or around August 30 after an argument with his wife.

The Sanilac County Medical Examiner ruled that the official cause of death was drowning, with no blunt force trauma or other major injuries indicated.

More information will be revealed once toxicology reports are complete.

The boat was found partially submerged in Lake Huron near Forestville on Sept. 7 by a passing freighter.
