DETROIT (AP) -

A man arrested in the stabbing of two emergency medical technicians in Detroit is being held without bond after being charged in the 2006 sexual assault and fatal stabbing of a teenager.

Michael Montgomery appeared by video at his arraignment Wednesday morning in 36th District Court in Detroit. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He's expected to get a court-appointed lawyer.

Charges haven't been filed in the stabbings of the EMTs. He's also awaiting arraignment on charges in sexual assault and kidnapping a woman in 2005.

EMTs Kelly Adams and Alfredo Rojas suffered severe wounds to their face and hands in the attack early Tuesday.
