Gov. Snyder honors bet, wears MSU tie

LANSING, MI (WNEM) -

It’s been days since that last-second play that gave Michigan State the win over the University of Michigan.

But today, people are still paying off their bets.

Governor Rick Snyder is wearing a Michigan State University Spartans tie today to honor the bet he made with Lt. Gov. Brian Calley.

Calley is a Michigan State University grad and had a wager with Gov. Snyder, a University of Michigan graduate.

The wager was that the losing team’s alumnus had to wear the other school’s tie for one day this week.
