Teen misses stop sign, hits semi hauling milk

TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A car hits a semi hauling milk, sending two teenagers to the hospital.

It happened Oct. 20 at 12:16 p.m. on Dixon and Higgins Roads in Tuscola County’s Juniata Township.

Deputies report that an 18-year-old driver was going Westbound on Dixon Road and didn’t stop at the stop sign.

She then hit the semi which was going north on Higgins Road.

The 18-year-old, and her 16-year-old passenger, both from Reese, were taken to a Saginaw hospital.

The semi driver, a 36-year-old woman from Sandusky, wasn’t hurt.
