MT. PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting people on the campus of Central Michigan University.

On Oct. 21 a woman told University Police that she was walking to class near Merrill Hall when a man riding a bicycle touched her buttocks as he went past.

Since then, similar assaults between Sept. 29 and Oct. 21 were reported.

Investigators were able to identify a suspect, and on Nov. 6 23-year-old Matthew Berlin, from Fennville, turned himself in. He was arraigned on criminal sexual assault charges in the fourth degree.
