BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Firefighters are on the scene of an apartment complex fire in Bay County.

The fire is at Howard Apartments at 310 S. Fifth, that’s in Kawkawlin Township.

TV5 viewers in the area are sending in pictures that show flames shooting out of the building. Heavy smoke was also being reported.

Bay County Undersheriff Troy Cunningham tells our crews on the scene there is no known cause of the fire, and firefighters will probably be on the scene until Friday morning making sure all the hot spots are out.

No one was hurt.
