1 dead after vehicle crosses center line

FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

One person is dead after a vehicle crossed the center line and slammed into another.

It happened Oct. 23 at 3:21 p.m. in the area of W. Bristol Road, west of Bishop Airport, in Flint Township.

Police report that an eastbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a westbound vehicle.

The driver of the westbound vehicle, 57-year-old Britton Maddox from Flushing, was killed.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 30-year-old Flint Township woman was hurt, but is expected to recover.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, and the crash remains under investigation.
