Pull out the T-shirts and even the shorts it’s going to be a warm week!

Sunshine and a breezy southwesterly winds will help usher in warm weather today. Temperatures will jump into the upper 60s near 70 degrees today!

That is nearly 15 to 20 degrees above normal for early November. A mix of sun and clouds, but sunshine will be the true winner today. A little breezy outside with southwest winds 15 to 25 mph. A few gusts over 25 mph at times. Even with the wind, the sun and warm temperatures will make for an absolutely gorgeous day!

Tonight will also be mild by November standards. Partly cloudy skies and a light wind will keep things quiet overnight. Lows will also be well above average for this time of the year only falling to the upper 40s.

Not to be outdone, Tuesday and Wednesday will take it one step further with mostly sunny skies and highs rising all the way into the lower 70s. We will make a run at record highs on Wednesday. The record for Nov. 4 is 71 degrees in Saginaw and 72 in Flint. Both records were set in 2008.

Right now we are on track to tie or even break that record. Make plans to be outside sometime this week it will be award winning both days.  Enjoy the unseasonably warm weather!

The good weather will last one more day on Thursday with temperatures in the upper 60s near 70 degrees, but there will be more clouds. Late Thursday night an area of low pressure will swing a cold front into Michigan and that will be the catalyst for rain showers Friday and Saturday. Track the showers using our interactive radar.

The majority of the rain will occur Friday morning and afternoon. Quite a bit of rain is anticipated. Just a few isolated showers will remain Saturday. Temperatures Friday and this weekend will also be much cooler, but closer to normal in the lower 50s and upper 40s.

You can plan your week with out 7-day forecast.
