Energy companies donating money for water filters

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Michigan energy companies are looking to help people with their water woes.

Consumers Energy and DTE are chipping in $50,000 to buy water filters for city residents, in response to Flint’s ongoing water crisis.

The city made the switch back to Detroit water, but officials still encourage the use of water filters.
