Police ID motorcyclist killed after crashing into sign

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Police have identified a motorcyclist killed in an accident Tuesday night.

It happened at 10:16 p.m. near Weiss and Churchill Lanes in Saginaw Township.

Police said Timothy Ducharme-Patton, 26, from Midland, was westbound on Weiss Road when his motorcycle left the road while navigating a turn, and he hit the curb and street intersection sign.

Investigators say Ducharme-Patton was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues.
