Troopers ID man killed in motorcycle crash on highway

SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Michigan State Police have identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday.

Troopers say that Rodney Reinhart, 50, from Kawkawlin, was thrown off his motorcycle after losing control of the bike on I-675 near Outer Drive in Saginaw County’s Buena Vista Township.

Investigators say it happened at 9:42 p.m. and Reinhart struck a guard rail, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reinhart was wearing a helmet at the time.

It’s not clear what contributed to the crash.
