Motorcycle driver loses control, hits street sign

A motorcycle driver was able to walk away after losing control of his bike, leaving the road, and hitting a sign.

It happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday on Pinkerton Road in Tuscola County’s Tuscola Township.

Sheriff’s deputies say that the 19-year-old driver from Frankenmuth said his footpeg hit the road while going through a curve, causing him to lose control.

He left the road, and hit a street sign.

He was treated at the scene, but then released.
