CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two people were arrested after an alleged drug deal went wrong.

The incident happened on Nov. 10 on Hall Street in Farwell. That’s in Clare County.

An 18-year-old Farwell man told police he was robbed at gun point. The victim was able to take a picture of the license plate on the suspect’s vehicle.

The vehicle was located a short while later at Jared’s Express mart in Farwell, police said.

Police learned the victim gave the suspect a large sum of money to buy narcotics, police said.

When the transaction fell through the suspects, an 18-year-old Farwell man and a 20-year-old Macomb man, took a large amount of money from the victim while showing a firearm, police said.

The two suspects have been arrested in connection to the robbery.
