ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -

A march and rally at the University of Michigan offered a show of support to University of Missouri students whose protests led two top administrators to resign.

The Ann Arbor News reports students marched Wednesday night in Ann Arbor and gathered at the Diag, the main pedestrian walkway through University of Michigan's Central Campus.

Hosted by School of Social Work People Of Color Collective, The Michigan Daily reports the demonstration began at the School of Social Work Building, where participants created signs and banners. They chanted "UMich for Mizzou, we support you."

The Missouri case is bringing attention to issues that have been simmering on other campuses including the University of Michigan for months or longer amid a national discussion of race relations and treatment of blacks in America.
