Some parents pull students after short power outage

Posted: Updated:
SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A bit of a chaotic school day for some local students after the power goes out.

Parents of White Pine Middle School in Saginaw Township got a phone message after power went out Thursday morning. But the district continued on with classes because if they needed it, generators would provide heat for the building.

While the power is back on at this time, TV5 crews at the school say some parents have pulled their students out of class.
